Justification for cancellation One of the tenders is based on wrong prerequisites and does not include the requested information so that a comparison can be made with the other tenders in the contest. The deviation is therefore deemed to be significant, and we are obliged to reject the tender. The competition is cancelled with immediate effect, cf. the Public Procurement Act of 12 August 2016 no. 974 § 25-4. The justification for the cancellation is that Asker Municipality is only left with one valid tender, and the contest is therefore deemed to have been unsuccessful. This thus meets the requirement give in the regulations that there are "justifiable reasons" for cancellation. The contracting authority will soon publish a new tender contest.
