The duration of the agreement is 2 years with a unilateral right for the contracting authority to extend the contract for a further 2 years, one year at a time.

The contract will be extended if notice of termination is not given 6 months before the beginning of the extension.

Gloppen municipality was included in the procurement collaboration for Nordfjord, Sunnfjord and Sogn (INSS) in 2023. INSS has a framework agreement for the procurement of medicines that is valid until 1 February 2024 with a possibility of prolongation for 1+1 year until 1 February 2026. For Gloppen, it may be applicable to coordinate the contract with this procurement so that there is an opportunity to participate in joint call-offs for the procurement collaboration the next time INSS makes such a procurement.
