Kvitsøy kommune

Competition for engineering design services for and construction of the new Kvitsøy school, municipal administration and library. The contract work mainly includes detailed engineering design services, construction, permanent fixtures, development of the outside area and trial operation of technical installations. The school shall have a school for 1st - 10th years with places for up to 100 pupils, 28 office work stations, the municipal library and the school-free time scheme divided with a gross area (gross area) of approx. 2,130 m2 and be ready for moving in January 2026. The new building shall be in accordance with TEK17 and it shall fulfil the requirements for light green B without the supplied power from solar panels. The building shall be constructed from solid wood and glue wood. The area in the municipal plan has been set aside and the site is regulated for the purpose. The project shall be carried out as a builder-developed turnkey contract in accordance with NS 8407, with a draft/preliminary project carried out by ARK, IARK, LARK, RIA, RIB, RIBr, RIE, RIG, RIM, RIR, RIV and RIVA. The start of the project is planned for May 2024. The contractor shall have the capacity to complete the contractual object at the latest by 19 December 2025 (final deadline).
