The contract is a sub-contract in the builder-managed operations contract in operations area 0901 Setesdal. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has responsibility for inspecting and monitoring the road network. All work on the road network is done in accordance with orders/mobilization made by the builder. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration will establish plans for the execution of the work, with a statement on the location and time.
This contract covers winter operations with road graders on the road network in the service area 0901 Setesdal, which covers rv. (National road) 9 with associated national foot and bicycle paths from the border between Vennesla Municipality and Evje and Hornnes Municipality in the south to the barrier at Hovden Fjellstoge in the north. A detailed overview of the road network is given in annex D2-S01a.
The contract period will run from 2023-09-01, at 00:00 until 2026-05-31, at 24:00.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The parties can, if agreed upon, extend the contract period so that it also applies to further 12, 24, or 36 months c.f. chapter C point 2.45.
The builder also has a unilateral option to extend the contract for 12 months, from and including 1 June in the year it was agreed the contract would expire, (i.e., either at the end of the original contract period, or at the end of the extended contract period in accordance with the previous section), until 31 May the following year.

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
Legally established company: Tenderers must be a legally established company or consist of a group of contractors who are legally established companies. The requirement also applies to any sub-contractors, cf. point 4.
SHA system: Tenderers must have a system that shows that they work pro-actively to ensure the safety, health and working environment (Norwegian abbreviation: SHA), with relevance to similar work as the work included in this contest.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling: Tenderers must have positive equity.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Relevant experience: The tenderer must have sufficient experience of a relevant nature and degree of difficulty from winter operations with road graders.
Builders' experience: The Norwegian Public Roads Administration and other builders' experiences with the contractor will be evaluated. Tenderers are required to show references to relevant contracts that he has carried out in a satisfactory manner.
Implementation ability: Relevant experience is also required amongst the key personnel who will be used for this assignment.
