The assignment comprises operation and maintenance tasks for Electrical and Automation, mainly in tunnels with associated open air zones. These tunnels are amongst Norway’s most heavily trafficked and several of them have an advanced control system and complex ITV installations with automatic incident detection (AID). The contract ensures functional responsibility for some of the assignments, both on and along national roads in Oslo, Asker, Bærum and Hole.
The assignment includes, amongst other things, inspections, function testing and internal control as well as periodical work, repair of damage and replacement/installation of objects. The assignment also includes registration, planning of the work, contingency, documentation, reporting to the builder and handling of other assignments that are necessary for the operation and maintenance of electrical installations on the road network.

The parties can, if they agree, extend the contract to apply for a further period of
12, 24, or 36 months, cf. chapter C3, point 36.
The builder has an option for extending the contract for 12 months, from and including 1 September
in the year the contract is agreed to end (i.e. at the end of the original
contract period, or from the end of the extended contract period in accordance with the prior section), until and
including 31 August in the following year.
