Oslo municipality, the Education Agency c/o The Summer School Oslo, hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a course in Summer School Oslo 2024, with an option for up to 1+1+1 year, i.e. for summer 2025, 2026 and 2027. The summer school in Oslo is one of Norway's largest events for children and youths. In 2023 we offered approx. 18,000 pupil places divided in 4 weeks with execution. The pupils could choose from 65 different courses and a total of 657 course implementations were held at 53 different course locations throughout the city, plus excursion locations and bathrooms. Frameworks for the assignment Oslo Summer School is a free offer for children and youths in Oslo city. The tender supports the schools ́ work with subject and social learning beyond the ordinary school year. The summer school is characterised by an equal offer all over the city. The tender shall consist of rich courses that last for one week and offered to all grades, from 1st - 10th grade pupils in primary and lower secondary schools to even pupils out of sixth form college, the first two and two weeks of the summer holiday. On our courses, wonder, exploration and allure stand in focus. Children and youth with the same interests can meet across school affiliation and together explore different topics. The topics shall be future orientated and relevant based on what the pupils are learning in the school. We would like to motivate more learning through fun and practical activities. We want learning to be fun! The courses shall start from the target group 3-10th years and consist of five day courses within one of the following areas: o Language, tradition and culture o Man, citizenship and the large city community o Nature, environment, sustainability and climate. o Technology and science o Creative business and cultural expression o Courses with vocational focus and preparation The course package shall consist of a developed course with clearly defined measurements for the week. Tenderers shall have experience from equivalent assignments.: • Tenderers shall refer to at least three relevant assignments in the last three years. A relevant delivery will be to have completed courses under their own auspices or ordering from other pupils in one or several of the same target groups to Sommerskolen, i.e. pupils from 1st to 10th years or sixth form college. It may have been as a part of leisure offers, cultural offers, in schools, before-and-after-school care/AKS or similar. However, it does not have to have been on the same terms as the Summer School ́s frames with courses for a full week, so, for example, hourly courses, fixed weekly arrangements, weekend courses, camps or the like can also be considered as relevant deliveries.
