The contest concerns the replacement of two lifts and the work must be nearly complete. Refer to the Appendix Description of Lifts, Bugården Senior Centre for an understanding of the scope of delivery and what is to be offered.

Standard lifts are to be delivered, to the level described in the Appendix Description of Lifts, Bugården Senior Centre.

Questions about the contest will not be answered in weeks 28 and 29.

Two lifts in Bugårdensenteret will be changed out, lift shafts will not be chaged.

Disassembly/demolition of the existing lifts, including disposal of waste and all disposal fees, which are to be included in the offer.

Constructional prerequisites, various conditions included in the offer:

The lifts are far apart and each serve their own wing in the centre.

The time required for changing the lifts must be included in the cover letter. It may take a maximum of 5 weeks to change out the lifts.

The lifts are to be changed out one by one, and a break between lift assemblies is acceptable.

The offer shall include measures for maintaining vertical communication while the lifts are being changed out.

Refer otherwise to the fire diagrams and fire-safety concept in the appendix for information and any necessary information for assessments and submission of tenders.

The existing lifts shall be disassembled/demolished and removed from the building.

All electrical connections are to be included in the offer, including handling the alarm and warning system.

All chemicals and other hazardous waste must be handled in accordance with current regulations, etc., and delivered to an approved recipient, which must be included in the offer.

All parts etc. that can be recycled must be recycled and delivered to or retrieved by an approved reception facility or equivalent. The tenderer will accrue the value of delivered steel that is delivered to an approved recipient, but in any case, it must all be included in the offer.

Necessary coverings for controlling the spread of dust must also be included in the contract. Equipment, such as detectors, sensors, etc., must be covered or temporarily disconnected, if necessary.

The existing lift shafts shall be used as they are.

If the existing wall, ceiling and floor structures cannot be used, this must be stated in the cover letter. In such cases, the letter must also state what will need to be included for steel reinforcements, etc. for fastening rails, etc.

Crookedness in the shafts is the responsibility of the tenderer, so it is assumed weight deviations etc. will be found during inspection by looking at existing rail attachments, etc.

Necessary scaffolding, necessary temporary closures of shaft openings, necessary local corridor barricades etc., securing and temporary storage of elevator parts, both old and new, and all else that concerns HSE is the responsibility of the lift tenderer and must be included in the offer.

Work safety analyses will be performed.

The municipality's SHA plan serves as the basis for the tenderer's HSE work.

Before submitting a tender, it is recommended that the tenderer inspect the buildings, outdoor areas, old lifts, etc. A joint inspection will not be carried out, but an agreement can be made to inspect the lifts via the project leader of the maintenance unit or the head of the technical unit.

Inspections shall take place over two days at agreed upon times, the duration of which is assumed to be 1 hour for each offer.

All conditions regarding delivery, temporary storage parts etc. must be included in the offer.

After disassembly, the shafts must be cleaned and sanitised, and all surfaces are to be offered painted with paint similar to that which is in the shafts today. The tenderer of the lifts must adhere to this and include the painting work in the offer. There are no requirements for the use of painting companies, or the use of painters with a trade certificate for this work, but the work must be carried out professionally.

A standard solution shall be offered for passenger lifts for public buildings, which will essentially be the same lift as the existing lifts, upgraded to the current normal standard for the type of lift.

The lifts must be delivered with a lift chair / floor surface that corresponds to the existing lifts, and all dimensions must be stated in the offer. If the deviations in relation to the existing lifts are large and / or of significance for practical use, this must be stated before the offer is delivered, with clarification in the "questions and answers" module in Mercell.

Ventilation in lift shafts will not be changed, but if the existing solution does not satisfy the new requirements in general, or the requirements for the new lifts in particular, this must be stated in the offer cover letter.
