The contract includes the establishment, operation and maintenance of 24 hour rest areas for heavy goods vehicles along E6 in Oslo and parts of Viken
The 24 hour rest area(s) must be located along the E6 in the municipalities from and including Moss to and including Oslo. The driving distance from E6 to the entrance to the 24-hour rest area must be a maximum of 2 km. The maximum driving distance is measured from the end of the ramp from the E6 in the northbound direction.
The 24-hour rest area(s) must have minimum 20 setback areas and must contain service buildings with sanitary facilities.
There is a need for approx. 180-220 setback areas on the stretch. The contracting authority prefers to have the 24 rest areas as large as possible.
A contract will be signed with several tenderers for this procurement.
The 24 hour rest area(s) must be ready for opening at the latest on 01.06.2023 and for 3 years. The contracting authority has an option to extend the contract for 1+1+1 year, so the total possible hire period is 6 years.
