As a part of UDI's [the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration] accommodation service, the Directorate wants to enter into an agreement for round the clock services to persons over 18 years of age, with comprehensive nursing and care needs and who have the right to a place in asylum centres. The background for this is that UDI, at any given time has residents over 18 years of age in asylum centres who need closer follow-up than they can get in any of the other types of asylum centres. Some of these may also need nursing and care services.

UDI is cancelling the contest for the operation of special nursing and care system (special care), DOFFIN ID 2022-915066.
The reason for cancellation is due to increased need for special care locations and changes to the prerequisites. UDI will be announcing a new competition as soon as possible.
The following changes will be considered in the new notice:
- Increased number of special care locations of up to 12 permanent locations + up to 12 unit price locations + up to 12 optional locations.
- Operation of special care services can be established in all municipalities in the country, aside from Råde and South Vanager municipalities. In any case, the maximum number of locations in one municipality can not be more than 13 locations in total.

- Opportunities for residents of special care facilities to have relatives living at or in the vicinity of the special care facility.
UDI has an increased need for special care locations and performs ongoing assessments of the need for special care locations pending the edablishment of location through a regular contest.
UDI apologises for any inconvenience that this causes in your work to prepare tender offers for us, but in light of the changed prerequisites, UDI does not see any other possibility than to cancel the contest and issue a new notice.
