Due to accessibility, capacity and traffic safety, the Norwegian Coastal Administration will improve the approach to Borg Harbour, which is located in Fredrikstad Municipality in Viken County.
This contract and the procurement is only for the receipt and handling on land of all sediments in classes 4-5 that cannot be disposed of in a sea waste disposal site.
- Røsvikrenna is to be deepened to 12 metres deep, 90 metres wide
- The turning place at Fuglevikbukta is to be deepened to 11 metres depth
- Establishment of new sailing markings in Røsvikrenna and at the turning place
- A total of approx. 700,000 m3 matter is to be dredged
- 450,000 m3 (class 1-3) is to be deposited in a sea waste disposal site
- 250,000 m3 is considered to be polluted in classes 4-5 (in accordance with M350), and must be dealt with on land at a certified landfill site.
