The current school buildings shall be demolished to facilitate for a new school building.

In accordance with this, the building is required to be executed in a partnering model in two phases, with the contracting authority having an option to order phase 2. Phase 1 will consist of the development of a jont preliminary project and the establishment of a target price. Phase 2 will consist of detailed engineering design services and execution.

The entire project shall be developed in collaboration with users, the builder, contractor, architect and consultants.

The current school buildings shall be demolished to facilitate for a new school building (1st to 7th year). The gross area of the buildings subject to demolition is approx. 6400 m2.

The school shall be designed for a total capacity of 536 pupils. The gross area of the new school is approx. 6700 m2. Surrounding the school is a spacious area that shall be developed in a park-like way.

Simultaneously with the engineering design, a detailed zoning plan for the area shall be prepared.

The construction project was considered by the Municipal Council in Stjørdal in December 2021. In March 2022, parts of the project had to be revised, and a new consideration was required by the Municipal Council. The construction shall be initiated during spring 2023 in accordance with the decision. To meet this deadline, the engineering design service must begin this summer.

It is therefore impossible to carry out a procurement within the standard deadlines.

The first phase of the procurement is a prequalification process. It is not very labour-intensive for the tenderers to obtain the documents / information required for the prequalification phase.

The deadline for submitting tenders for the qualified tenderers is considered adequate, as calculations are not required. The qualified tenderers must provide hourly rates and mark-up percentages, documented competence for own employees and partners and prepare an implementation plan for the project.
