A new floating wharf, floating breakwater, or wave breaker of 100 metres in Kristiansand Guest Harbour will replace the current floating wharf that does not stop the waves in a satisfactory way. The wharf that is to be replaced is marked with a blue circle. The exact placement is shown in the annex.

The tenderer must assemble the wharfs and anchor them so that they can tolerate the strain that they can be exposed to. Tenderers are responsible for familiarising themselves with the area as regards depth conditions, current conditions, and weather exposure. The tenderer will be responsible for engineering design services, and the site must be sufficiently dimensioned for use as a guest harbour. The installation must be delivered complete and assembled with the all the necessary anchorage. The existing wharf must be moved further in, and is not included in this contest.

This harbour is exposed to the weather, and all the components and the system must be dimensioned thereafter. The wharfs must lie securely in the water and must be level after assembly so that they are good to walk on. The outriggers must only be on the inside of the wharf. The wharf must be assembled at 90 degrees to the existing wharf. See the picture/sketch below. Any measures must be calculated and carried out during assembly if required to get stable conditions with level wharfs.

The material that is used must tolerate Nordic conditions with ice stresses as the wharfs will be in position year round.
The complete delivery must be in accordance with the current laws, regulations, and standards for this type of installation.
The contracting authority will facilitate a joint site inspection for tenderers if wanted.
Outriggers outer harbour
- Non-slip steel cover of expanded metal, or similar
- Closed corner sections
- Outriggers must be delivered with a protection edge
- Solid and sufficient fixings that are quiet
- Minimum 4 mooring fixings on each side of the outrigger along the entire length
- Ten 0.6 m wide and minimum 12 m long, assembled on the inside of the new wharf 22 0.6 m wide and minimum 10 m long, assembled on the existing wharf that is moved in.
- Minimum two float balls per outrigger, so that several persons can walk on the outrigger at the same time. The mooring bar in the inner harbour is to be assembled on the existing floating wharf.
- Minimum 3 mooring fixings on each side of the outrigger along the entire length
- Sixteen 15 cm wide and minimum 8 m long
- 1 adult person must be able to walk on the outrigger. Delivery from the tenderer:
Prices and delivery times (plan) are wanted for the complete execution for replacing the wharf.
This means, amongst other things:
- Engineering design services for the delivery, sketch drawings, mooring plan, description of the connection to the existing wharf
- Tenderers must give information on the significant wave height on the inside of the wharf
- Delivery of a new floating wharf for Kristiansand Guest Harbour All transport costs and rigging costs must be included in the price.
- All assembly costs are to be included in the price.
- MOM documentation in accordance with the current legislation. Equipment delivery (the main parts):
- Floating wharf, floating breakwater or wave breaker, minimum 5.6 m without the fender log The total length of the wharf must be 100 m.
- Sufficient conduit for electricity and water, the pipes are to be protected and end in a connection with the existing landing stage. Hatches for the assembly of a total of 10 electricity pillars. 2 hatches for the assembly of light signals for boat traffic.

- 10 electricity pillars. Each pillar must have a light on the top, minimum 4 electricity outlets, water tap, and a fixing for hanging a water hosepipe. This is to be priced as an option.
- The electricity pillars must be adapted to module systems for paying for the electricity that are operated via a smartphone.
- In addition to what is mentioned in the above points, all other necessary parts/equipment needed for assembly must be included in the price.
- The necessary number of mooring bollards must be included in the tender. The contest will be weighted as follows:
- Price 40%.
- Width - concrete construction 20%.
- Weight 20%.
- Depth under water - concrete construction 20%.
