GRID-Arendal is seeking to engage a suitable company to support and develop its in-house project management system – ProCat. ProCat is a web-based project management software built on the Microsoft .Net framework. ProCat provides functionality for project planning, project management, staff allocations, leave bookings, financial tracking and ICT Inventory. As part of our continual improvement process, we are looking to improve the existing functionalities and build new functionalities into ProCat to further improve our project workflow.

The successful company will have a strong background in Microsoft .NET development, being able to translate the client’s needs into a user-friendly applications. They will have a proven track record in developing web-based systems for planning and managing projects including tracking staff allocations and project financials. They will be able to implement and fine tune new features to build on the utility of such systems.

Feature updates in 2022 may include:
• Developing and integrating a supplier/consultant database
• Improve project planning functionality
• Enhance staff allocations, including implementation of time sheet functionality
• Enhance personal dashboard with relevant information on projects, milestones, and leave
• Visualise project milestones, resources, and progress
• Develop custom reporting tools
• Integration with other tools including SharePoint for cloud-based file storage
