We would like to procure artistic competence that can be used in the construction project.

The procurement covers assistance with, amongst other things, the following main areas:

- Manage the art committee

- Mapping and prioritising areas and places that are particularly suitable for art in a dialogue with the contracting authority, the contracting authority's architect, and the art committee.

- Formulating an overall strategy for handling new and existing art. The chosen strategy will form the basis for and will be worked into the art plan.

- Formulate an art plan in collaboration with the art committee, with curatorial main grasp and methods, budget, and future plans for different parts and phases of the project. The art plan must be a dynamic tool that is continually developed throughout the process and that safeguards good flow and coordination between the art project and the construction project. The art plan must also describe how the work with documentation, communication, fastening and arrangement of the art, as well as facilitation for management of the artworks, will be implemented.

- Follow-up the choice of artists and art project in consultation with the art committee and art plan. Responsibility for holding competitions, placing orders and making procurements.

- Follow-up/coordinate engineering design/assembly of the individual art projects in the buildings.

- Review and mapping of existing art as a basis for a curatorial assessment of reuse/reassembly to the degree that it coincides with the intention of the art plan.

- Summoning meetings in the art committee, meeting minutes, etc.

- Aesthetic design, choice of colours, and art is important for creating good surroundings for the best possible patient treatment and experience for patients, employees, and relatives.

The parties must together find an appropriate system for making decisions, coordination, progress plan, communication, and anchorage. The contracting authority and the contracting authority's architect will be represented in the decision body of the project.

The contracting authority will, through the project, have an efficient organisation that can discuss solutions and consequences, and be capable of making quick decisions.
