Heart valves for catheter based implantation for the health trusts in Norway
Sykehusinnkjøp HF, c/o national services, would like, on behalf of the regional health trusts, to procure
heart valves for catheter based implantation for both children and adults.
The contracting authority would like tenders for heart valves, catheter based implantation (TAVI) for both children and adults at the following health trusts:
- Oslo University Hospital Trust
- Akershus University Hospital Trust
- The University Hospital of North Norway Health Trust
- St. Olavs Hospital Trust.
- Haukeland University Hospital Trust

The consumption of heart valves for catheter based implantation is estimated to be approx. NOK 150 million a year. 1100-1200 implantations are carried out a year. The consumption is increasing. Consumption is based on statistics and estimated consumption. The given estimates are only a guide and are not binding in any way.
