Framework agreement: Bridge maintenance national roads Innlandet and Buskerud 2023 - 2024

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s Operation and Maintenance Division East would like to enter into a framework agreement with up to two tenderers of bridge maintenance on national roads in Innlandet. The framework agreement will also apply to the western parts of Viken, limited to former Buskerud County from 2021. The works for the framework agreement mainly apply to maintenance works. The assignments will vary in scope and include various types of bridge maintenance.
The maximum value of the framework agreement is NOK 160 million excluding VAT. The amounts stated in chapter D1 are based on experience from previous contracts. The stated amounts make up the expected amounts for the expected maintenance need for two years. The stated amounts are, however, uncertain. The contracting authority has an option for 1+1 year extension of the framework agreement. The total scope per year is expected to be approx. NOK 20 - 40 million excluding VAT subject to approval, which also applies for the options in 2025 and 2026.

The agreement applies to areas where the Norwegian Public Roads Administration is responsible for maintenance and where this is not included in other contracts.

The works for the framework agreement mainly apply to maintenance works.
The assignments will vary in scope and include bridge maintenance of varying nature, including joint repairs, replacement of asphalt joints, repair of joint sills, repair of bearings, concrete repairs, minor road surface repairs, corrosion protection, replacement and repair of railings, edge beams, width expansions to bridges, water outlets, major concrete works due to flood damage, repairs due to undermining, stream flow diversion and the like. The assignments also include assistance with lifting and diving in connection with the builder's inspections of existing bridges.
