The objective of the agreement is to procure an electronic blood pressure apparatuses for use in most of the departments at hospital trusts included in Helse Vest RHF (the Western Norway Regional Health Authority). The apparatuses must apply to all groups of patients (newborns, children, adults) There are two categories of apparatuses, and the invitation to tender is therefore divided into the following two lots:
Lot 1: Simplified and less expensive apparatuses that will only measure NIBP, pulse and SpO2.
Lot 2: Advanced apparatuses for measuring NIBP, SpO2, pulse and temperature with NEWS (New Early Warning Score) functionality and the possibility for connecting to electronic professional systems.

A framework agreement will be entered into for purchases of equipment as well as the accompanying framework agreement for equipment-dependent consumables.
The estimated scope of lot 1 is 60 apparatuses per annum, to a total of 300 apparatuses in the five-year contract period. The estimated scope of lot 2 is 20 apparatuses per annum, to a total of 100 apparatuses in the five year contract period. The stated consumption/scope is an estimate for information to the tenderer, and is not binding for future contract volume.
