GRID-Arendal works with many different types of communication products, such as written reports, infographics, atlases and visual narratives. This Framework Agreement will cover copy editing and translation services across multiple projects that fall under the GRID-Arendal programmes (Marine Environment, Waste and Marine Litter, Polar and Climate, Transboundary Governance and Environmental Crime). Specific Terms of Reference will be supplied as necessary to supplement the Framework Agreement project background.

Tasks and deliverables
Under this Framework Agreement, translation and editorial services will be delivered to support GRID-Arendal’s projects, which will be outlined by project-specific terms of reference. Tasks and deliverables can include for example:
- Copy editing of texts for different products
- Design, writing, editing and translating of different products
- Iterating product versions with project managers and experts
- Providing editorial comments on a variety of products
- Providing basic and high quality translation of products and material in multiple languages
Process for submission
All interested parties must submit their quotation to the following email address, no later than July 18th, 2022. lorna.little@grida.no. With reference ‘Copy Editing and Translation Services’ (CC procurements@grida.no).
Any questions about the project and work to be carried out should be addressed to lorna.little@grida.no.
Quotations must include a (1) brief description of approach and methodology. (2) Financial offer (fees can be quoted in USD, Euro, or Norwegian Kroner).
Quotations submitted shall be binding and valid for a period of third (30) days from the due date stated herein. Any prices accepted during this period will be considered firm/fixed. GRID-Arendal will award this requirement in total and will not accept any partial quotations.
