Contract for the renovation of AudMax

AudMax shall be comprehensively renovated, both externally and internally. The building was designed by Leif Olav Moen and was completed in 1970. AudMax was listed in the national protection plan for KD in 2014.
The intention is that the project is carried out as a partnering contract, but we are open to a transition to a turnkey contract in the execution phase. The renovation must be completed in late summer 2024, in good time before UKA in Ås.

Justification for cancellation The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (commonly known as NMBU) has decided to postpone this project, possibly for a couple of years. We must therefore cancel this tender contest. Energy costs at NMBU have increased dramatically recently, and the outlook for the next couple of years is currently dramatic. At the time of writing, we have no indication that the University will be compensated for the increased costs. We must therefore redistribute our means. The top management at NMBU has therefore made this decision. See also the reservation in the tender notice's section 1.1.3 We have therefore concluded that a cancellation on this basis is in accordance with what is referred to in PPR § 25-4 as a justifiable reason. The project will be published as a new tender contest as soon as it is financially viable for NMBU to implement it.
