Narvik kommune

Narvik kommune [Narvik Municipality] will collocate a nursery school and school (1-10 school) in Kjøpsvik to a new early development centre. In addition, a pool will be built that will satisfy the requirements for funding of the training pool from the national lottery. It has been decided to built the early development centre on the existing school site. An option has been included for engineering design of a training pool in connection to Stetindhallen.
The contract includes evaluation of building the early development centre according to energy-plus-house standard, complete development of a preliminary project and turnkey contract description with all necessary drawings, requirement specification and contest rules that form the basis for a tender contest for construction of the new early education centre and pool. A cost analysis will also be prepared, giving a realistic and quality circle picture of the total cost of the project including LCC and LCA or ‘life cycle assessment’ and a systematic mapping and assessment of environment and resource impacts throughout the entire life cycle of a product.
