Gran kommune

Gran Municipality is planning a new nursing home and sheltered accommodation flats with a total of 120 places where the municipality is constructing 88 institution places and
32 small sheltered accommodation flats at Sagatangen.
The Health and Welfare Service would like to run the welfare centre in cooperation with the voluntary sector and inhabitants in Gran. The site will therefore be open to the surrounding community and the public are invited in.
The engineering design services will be based on the approved environmental requirements in the municipality. The engineering design services will use the potential of wood.
It is important for the contracting authority that the nursing home and sheltered accommodation flats are optimised for high service efficiency and a high area efficiency.
A previously formulated feasibility study dated 3 September 2019 will form the basis, but the priority will be to work further with an open
H‐model. The building must have expansion options for a floor and/or extension.

The procurement will give Gran Municipality access to creative consultant resource for the implementation of a challenging project. The progress and degree of detail can be changed during the engineering design services, due to political decisions, amongst other things.

The procurement is for the implementation of a detailed project as a basis for a tender contest.
