The aim of the procurement of a company health service provider is to see to the employer's

statutory obligations in accordance with the Working Environment Act, section 3-3, with the accompanying HSE regulations.
The municipalities must be an attractive, including and health-promoting workplace. The municipalities have continued their IA work in cooperation with NAV. The company health service provider will be part of the HSE and IA work, with the personnel having the coordinating responsibility. The company health service provider will be represented in AMU, cf. the Working Environment Act section 7-1 (1), and an active contributor with professional advice and recommendations in AMU's work.

The service will cover all the municipality's employees. Karasjok Municipality currently has 277 employees, divided between 263 full-time positions, whilst Kautokeino Municipality has 278 employees divided between 256.4 full-time positions.
