The objective of the project is to expand the knowledge base about children in refugee families. There is a need for more knowledge about children's experience of the integration process. There is also a need for more knowledge about how the municipalities work to integrate children with a refugee background, and what measures can consider as good practice.
The purpose of the project is to:
1. Map the experiences for some children with a refugee background and their upbringing in Norway.
2. Examine municipal and state measures for promoting better integration of children with a refugee background and provide specific recommendations for a good practice in the integration field.
