improvements made to the existing dehumidification installations. The assignment includes:
• delivery and assembly of dehumidification installations for stiffening supports and supporting cables for
Bømla Bridge and Storda Bridge
• replacement of the dehumidification installations for the side span on 12-2200 Bømla Bridge.
• post pulling of bolts in the upper suspension rod fastenings
• surface treatment on the upper suspension rod fastenings, stanchions, and cable clamps
• improvements to safety wires on main cables and assembly of wire based
fall protection system on the main cables.

These suspension bridges were constructed in 2000/2001 and are constructed with air-spun
parallel wire cables. The cables were applied with a zinc containing silastic paste, coiled with steel wire and painted. Bømla Bridge is connected to the county road, the bridge is 999 m, and the length of the supporting cables is 943 m. Storda Bridge is connected to the European road, the bridge is 1079 m, and the length of the supporting cables is 1144 m.
