Bergen Municipality would like to offer a public toilet solution in the parks in the centre of Bergen.
The possibility for a permanent solution is being reviewed, which will be in place in 2023 at the earliest. In order to have a temporary offer, Bergen Municipality would like to procure mobile toilet solutions that can be placed in a selection of parks.
This procurement includes the hire of mobile toilet cabins, as well as the operation and cleaning of them. The hire and operation season is from 1 May until 1 October 2022. There is an option to extend the contract for a further 1 year.
The contract includes requirements for social responsibility, including pay and working conditions. See the procurement documentation for further information.

Kort beskrivelse:

The toilets will be placed in 3 different parks in the Bergenhus district: Nygårdsparken, Møllendal Allmenning, and Nordnesparken. See annex 1 - location of toilets.

A total of 5 mobile unisex toilet cabins and 3 mobile HC toilet cabins will be hired. The toilets must function without connection to water, sewage, or electricity.

Nygårdsparken.

Nygårdsparken is one of Bergen's most popular parks in the summer, and has a large need for a toilet solution.

This park will have 2 unisex toilets and 1 HC toilet.

Møllendal Allmenning.

Møllendal Allmenning is a relatively new installation in Bergen, and is very popular in the summer.

This installation will have 2 unisex toilets and 1 HC toilet.

Nordnesparken.

Popular park furthest out on Nordnespynten.

This installation will have 1 unisex toilet and 1 HC toilet.

Options

If the option to extend the contract is taken up, there can be a need to change the locations of the toilets. This can involve changing the location within a park, or placing the toilets in other parks or other public installations.

Operating season.

The toilets are to be operated and cleaned several times a day in the operating season, 1 May to 1 October 2022. This also includes Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holidays, as well as evenings and nights.
