The scope of the procurement is an estimate based on normal operations and actual utilization of the premises at the three locations over years The stated volume is an estimate for information to the tenderer, and is not binding for future contract volume.

Location Rikshospitalet

Bedding in large sacks, approx. 175 kg sacks.

Estimated annual consumption: Approx. 80 large sacks.

- Bedding in autoclavable paper sacks, 10-12 kg

Estimated annual consumption: 100 kg. Location Ullevål:

- Bedding in paper portion sachets of 200-250 g for direct placement into cages for small rodents.

Estimated annual consumption: 28,600 sachets of 200-250 g.

In the event of a possible change of cage type(s) it may be relevant to change the sachet size, - a change will be something that can be planned with the supplier.

Bedding in autoclavable paper sacks, 10 -12 kg

Estimated annual consumption: 50 kg

- Bedding paper portion sachets of other sizes than 200-250 g, possibly with additional content such as environment enrichment. Other sizes/types of sachets are requested as additional assortment.

The need can arise in some test setups/projects where the requirement for bedding deviates from the standard choice in the department. Estimated annual consumption: Low - the amount is difficult to estimate, consumption will possibly replace some of the estimated annual consumption of sachets. Location Radiumhospitalet:

Estimated annual consumption: 16,500 kg.

If the current premises are utilized to the maximum regarding the number of cages and change of bedding in all cages once a week, the annual need for bedding could increase by

- Bedding in large sacks: 75%

- Bedding in autoclavable paper sacks: 60%

- Bedding in paper portion sachets: 75%

The probability for such an increase in the use of the premises is low. There are no plans for expansion of the premises or similar which could expand the cage capacity in the contract period.

Varighet: 24 måneder
Beskrivelse av fornyelser:

The contracting authority can extend the framework agreement for up to 1 year at a time for a maximum total contract period of 4 years.
