21/16697 Seat cushions to prevent pressure ulcers

The procurement will cover different types of seat cushions with pressure ulcer preventing qualities, as well as the accompanying accessories and spare parts.
The procurement is split into sub-contracts for the best possible coverage of the users' needs.
Contracts will be signed for each sub-contract with a sufficient number of tenderers to cover the majority of the users' needs. Parallel framework agreements will be signed in sub-contracts 3, 5, 7, and 8 for seat cushions from minimum two tenderers, provided that there is a sufficient number of suitable tenderers and tenders. In the other sub-contracts, contracts will be signed for each sub-contract with a sufficient number of tenderers to cover the majority of the users' needs. There can, therefore, be variations from sub-contract to sub-contract regarding whether a framework agreement will be signed with one tenderer, or whether parallel framework agreements will be signed.
An estimate has been given for the total value for the procurement. The maximum total value per sub-contract can be up to 40% higher than the estimated total value.
