It is therefore important that the offered resource is very familiar with the role of builder for large and complex projects, preferably within the public sector. Experience from work with the Government’s model for large investment projects will be emphasised.

- Experience from manager roles, of which multidisciplinary work will be emphasised.

- Experience from projects within relevant universities will be emphasised. Good cooperation and communication abilities is a prerequisite, both as regards contractors, the engineering design group, and the contracting authority.

The resource will work in a team together with several project managers and contract managers, including the project manager for architectural design services and uniformity. The offered resource must have a large commitment, implementation ability, and good communication qualities. The NCS project is large and complex, and the offered resource is required to have experience with interface management and the involvement of several actors.

The offered resource ought to have 15 years experience from equivalent projects with a transferable value. We would like the candidate to have experience with the management of multidisciplinary engineering design assignments in large and complex construction projects, preferably from the consultant and/or the contractor side. We would also like the offered candidate to have a professional background from one of the central engineering professions.

The assignment will start on 25.04.2022, but Statsbygg is open for a gradual implementation in order to get the right person. This must be specified in the tender letter if relevant. The resource will be used by Statsbygg in a 100% position. The workload can vary somewhat in periods, both up and down. The contract will be signed for a period of 1 year with Statsbygg retaining the right to extend the contract for a further 3 years, with one year at a time, or until the NTNU Campus Co-location project is completed.
