1. About the assignment - purpose and scope of the procurement
The aim of the procurement is to ensure that as many inhabitants and businesses as possible get the option to connect to a broadband network of good quality in the areas specified in annex 7 Address Lists, annex 8 Map Section, and the attached KML files.
2. Contract parties
Møre og Romsdal County is making the procurement on behalf of Aure, Mole, Tingvoll, and Volda Municipalities.
Møre og Romsdal County is responsible for the procurement process, and is therefore referred to as the contracting authority.
Each individual municipality will be the contract party and responsible for their sub-project. Each individual municipality will therefore be responsible for their (sub) project from the date the selection is notified to the participants in the contest.

The contracting authority uses electronic procurement processes via the system provider Mercell (www.mercell.no). Amongst other things, tenders must be submitted electronically by the stated tender deadline.
Tenderers are responsible for submitting tenders by the tender deadline.
Tenderers are recommended, therefore, to submit tenders well before the deadline expires, for example, at least 1 hour before the tender deadline.
