Harstad Municipality intends to construct a new gymnastics hall at Stangnes. The new gymnastics hall will be an extension two an existing hall, but it will be run as a separate hall, and is, therefore, to have the environment 'swan' label. The gymnastics hall will have a basal area of 2100 m2.

Justification for cancellation
Harstad Municipality has decided to cancel the contest in accordance with the public procurement regulations, section 25-4, first paragraph.
The justification for this is that the municipality has found out that the contest has been announced with incorrect deadlines for the start-up and completion. When the notice was published the start-up date was given as immediately after the contract is signed. This cannot happen as the development plan has not been completed yet.
According to the public procurement regulations, section 14-2, a contracting authority can only make changes to the tender documentation that are insignificant. The change of the start-up and completion dates are significant changes, which leads to an obligation to cancel.
A new notice will be published when more is known about the conditions.
