Project name: HVO Hans Strøm-Huset, alteration

tenders for builder's ombudsman (BHO), including technical builder's ombudsman (TBHO), and SHO coordinator for the execution phase (KU) and the engineering design phase (KP).

The project concerns the renovation and reconstruction of the Hans Strøm house at Volda University College (Norwegian abbreviation: HVO). The building is from 1984 and consists of 4342 m2 split between the basement, levels 1-3, and a technical room on the roof. The building is to be altered in accordance with new floor plans, and the technical facilities will undergo a major upgrade. Windows and large parts of the outer walls will also be reconstructed. The building shall have office areas for employees in level 3, teaching premises in levels 1 and 2, as well as studios and workshops in the basement. The Department of Social studies and History will be the main user in levels 1-3, while Media Studies will be the main user of the basement.

Plan drafts and function descriptions have been prepared for the project. The turnkey contractor shall carry out detail engineering design for all solutions for execution. The construction period is expected to be from June 2022 to September 2023, with the following 6 months as a trial operation period.

The size of the turnover, seen in relation to the contract value, can be emphasized.

Statsbygg will carry out a credit rating of the tenderer.

Tenderers can also be asked to submit the auditor confirmed annual accounts, alternatively, state StartBANK ID.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

1. Tenderers are required to have sufficient experience from assignments with comparative value.

1. A description shall be provided of approx. 1 A4 page per project of up to 3 reference projects in the last 3 years with a comparative value, with information on amongst other things:

the project name

the contracting authority

the project scope in m2 and costs

type of buildings

type of contract

The assignment´s contract value excluding VAT

the tenderer´s assignments/role in the project

the start-up date and completion date (year)/if not completed, what stage the project is in.

in what phases the assignment was carried out.

2. Tenderers must have a secure implementation ability (capacity)

2. Overview of the number of employees in the company, divided into job categories

3. The person offered as the SHA co-ordinator is required to have the following education:

A week long course in relevant working environment law (e.g. HSE management course, 40 hour HSE course). The main part of the course must have been carried out as a classroom course - purely online based courses will not be accepted.
