The rough sea basin will be equipped with highly efficient wave absorption systems made of steel or suitable corrosion protected aluminium units integrated in the basin wall's structure. The shore system will mainly consist of steel constructions with a parabolic shaped perforated or non-perforated top plate, followed by moveable extensions in the water volume. The extensions will also be used to give a continual transition between the shore and the moveable bottom floor.
