STIFTELSEN GRID-ARENDAL

GRID-Arendal along with its partner UNEP is seeking the services of a web developer firm/individual to develop a project website in a WordPress content management system. Wireframes and a mock-up for the website will be provided by GRID-Arendal, and it is expected that the website development follows these.
There are four project goals that come in two phases. The first goal is to showcase the key findings from the report on Sports for nature in an easy to read, accessible, responsive, and interactive web format. The web application needs to be built in a way that encourages sustainability of the project. The website must:
1. Showcase key findings from the report
2. Introduce the framework so the audience knows what it takes to be nature-positive
3. Call for action/button to sign up.
4. Showcase experiences/case studies and show how they are being nature-positive (to come in PHASE 2: under a password protected membership zone)

Terms of Services Required
GRID-Arendal along with its partner UNEP is seeking the services of a web developer firm/individual to develop a project website in a WordPress content management system. Wireframes and a mock-up for the website will be provided by GRID-Arendal, and it is expected that the website development follows these. Feedback and any input/revisions to the wireframes are to be based on the needs of the client.

Submissions should include a portfolio showing industry trends and development of the WordPress content management system experience with responsive and adaptive design (desktop, tablet and mobile) and expert understanding of the entire web development process.

The services we are looking for are (but not limited to)
• In depth knowledge of the WordPress platform (plugin development)
• Full control of PHP back-end development
o MySQL database
• HTML and CSS
• JavaScript/jQuery
• Elementor Developer API
• WordPress Custom fields
Submissions should show proven skills in knowledge transfer, preparing hand-over documents and files from completed websites, including any custom code in an easily accessible repository (GitHub) and design files in industry standard Adobe format.
You must be prepared to support the websites though;
• Speed optimisation
• Server care/after care guides
• Security Analysis
• Search optimization/Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Debugging
