The contracting authority for this procurement is Luster kommune [Luster Municipality], old Sogndal kommune [old Sogndal Municipality] and old Leikanger kommune [old Leikanger Municipality]. The veterinary duty service for which veterinarians are sought is a continuation of the existing duty service. The veterinary duty service will ensure that veterinary clinic duty is established under municipal/inter-municipal auspices in all parts of the country so that necessary veterinary help can be acquired outside of regular working hours. The veterinary duty service is a necessary part of the contingency against serious infectious animal diseases and it is important for maintaining good animal welfare.
