Turnkey Contract Senjahopen Mass Extraction and Deposit Works

The project includes measures related to the establishment of two deposits for shielding and securing of dredged materials:
1) A jetty at location 1 ‘Hanslarsaneset’ in the Senjahopen port. Contaminated dredged materials from the dredging of the port must initially be placed inside the jetty area. The contract also includes supplementing clean dredged masses from the deepening of the seaward approach route. Receiving and laying contaminated and clean dredged materials are options.
2) Preparations for a landfill at the sports hall at location 2 ‘Steinneset’ which will be established by adding clean filling masses from dredging works in the seaward approach route. Receiving and laying clean dredged materials from the seaward approach route are options.
For both fillings, erosion protection/plastering of the working face must be carried out.
