Karmøy kommune

Helse og omsorgsetaten (the Department of Health) (the contracting authority), hereby requests that suppliers submit tenders to Karmøy kommune (Karmøy Municipality) for transport of infectious waste. Helse- og omsorgsetaten (the Department of Health) consists of different entities. Common for many of these is the production of infectious waste that must be destroyed. The quantity of infectious waste varies greatly and the figures provided are only an estimate. If there is an infection outbreak at any of the locations, the volume of infectious waste will increase for periods of time. Need and quantity will vary greatly from location to location. It is estimated that infectious waste will be collected from 19 locations. See Annex F, Delivery Locations for more information. The nursing homes will have the greatest need for collection of infectious waste.

The proportion of infectious waste produced by Karmøy Municipality is estimated to be as follows:
2021: 2 983.23 kg
2022: 6 455.53 kg
2023: 6 520.64 kg
2024: 6 555.68 kg

The contract duration will be two years from 22 May 2021, and the contracting authority will have the right to use an option to extend the contract for up to 1 year + 1 year. The contracting authority can extend the contract on verbatim terms if using the options. The new Skudeneshavn omsorgssenter (Skudeneshavn Care Centre) has the option to join the contract in 2023. The kilogram proportion of infectious waste produced by Skudeneshavn omsorgssenter for 2 years is estimated to be 36.50 kg in 2023 and 51.10 kg in 2024. Koronasenteret (the Corona Centre) has the option to join the contract can can leave the contract as needed. The kilogram proportion of infectious waste produced by the Corona Centre for 1 year is estimated to by 140.22 kg in 2021.

Requirement

Documentation Requirement

Tax certificate
Norwegian tenderers must have their tax, employer contributions and VAT payments in order.

A credit rating based on the most recent fiscal figures. The rating must be carried out by a credit rating company licensed to conduct
Such a service. The entire credit rating report must be provided.
If the tenderer has valid reasons for not being able to provide the documentation requested by the contracting authority, the tenderer can document his economic and financial capacity by presenting other documentation considered suitable by the contracting authority.

Requirement
In order to demonstrate
Implementation ability, the following requirements apply:
— the tenderer must have experience from a minimum of two similar assignment. Each of the assignments must have had a minimum duration of six months.
Documentation Requirement
Description of two of the tenderer's most relevant assignments during the last 3 years. The description must include an indication of the assignment value, time and public or private contracting authority, as well as the contact person's name, telephone number and e-mail address. It is the tenderer's responsibility to document relevance through the description. Tenderers can document experience by referring to the competence of the personnel that he can use for this assignment, including experience that has been acquired while the personnel carried out services for another service provider. The contracting authority reserves the right to contact the reference persons.
