Stavanger municipality is responsible for the development of the Lervig quarter. The objective of the development project is the establishment of Storhaug's new meeting place with services and meeting places that encourage activities and accommodation.
The area is a quarter in the Storhaug district in the heart of Lervig, approx. 1.5 km from Stavanger's central area. The quarter constitutes Ryfylkegata, Haugesundsgata, Rennesøygata and Breivikveien, and has an area of approx. 30 decares.
The objective of the development project is to establish a quarter for public functions and shops at Lervig in the eastern part of Stavanger. The quarter is limited as plan 2692, and currently contains Lervig nursing home in addition to the former administration building that was connected to the Tinfabriken (the Tin factory). Both the administration building and the nursing home shall be continued and preserved.
