The Centre for Integrity in the Defence Sector (CIDS) works as an advisory body in the Ministry of Defence. CIDS' work includes strengthening a good system of government and integrity as well as giving advice related to important areas for reducing the risk of corruption or other unethical conduct. The primary areas relevant for ensuring a continual improved good system of government are:
— professionality and integrity in the public administration,
— personnel management,
— conflict of interest/impartiality,
— free access to public information,
— public procurements.
CIDS shall execute the contract with the tenderer on behalf of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence. The Norwegian Ministry of Defence is a party to the contract.
