Simulation equipment for a dental clinic
UiT Norges arktiske universitet
43 work stations with a unit, phantom patient, and room for AV equipment will be procured for the simulation clinic a the Institute for Clinical Odontology. 42 places are for students and 1 work station is for the instructor.
The simulation clinic is part of the University Dental Clinic (UTK), and the premises will be used for preclinical teaching in dentist and dental hygienist education. In addition, it must be possible to train 'simulated' if required, also during the remaining clinical period, i.e., that student teaching alternates between propaedeutic and ordinary clinic throughout the entire study period.
