Forsvarsbygg (the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency) has received the task of introducing category management as a basis for their further development of the procurement activity.
In 2020 a general profit realisation plan was developed outlining a profit potential of NOK 230 million including VAT within operational procurements connected to EBA categories and some associated support categories. The project will also quality assures these figures in the introductory phase, see if there is further profit potential in the agency's total procurement portfolio.
A thoroughly prepared profit realisation plan (GRP) will be developed and sent to the program committee for modernisation and streamlining in the sector during early autumn 2021.
In order to assist the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency in the further work of laying the foundation for implementing category management, there is a need for external assistance.
