Sjunkhatten folkehøgskole will be the country's first barrier-free and in real terms universally designed non-degree granting college. Through ground-breaking architecture, use of new technology and a broad range of subjects, a completely unique school year will be offered. The school building,residence halls, surroundings, infrastructure and the school's educational profile will be built around the principles of real universal design, and the contracting authority's vision is that architecture and design can break down the unnecessary barriers between people.
