The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) will, on behalf of The Electricity Regulatory Authority in Uganda (ERA), be the contracting authority for a project with consultancy services where Uganda's Grid Code(s) are restructured and revised and later implemented in the energy sector in Uganda.
The value of the contract period of approx. 6 months is estimated to be between NOK 500,000 and NOK 1,000,000 excluding VAT. The total estimated value for the two option years will be between NOK 2,000,000 and NOK 3,000,000 excluding VAT.

The value of the contract period of approx. 6 months is estimated to be between NOK 500,000 and NOK 1,000,000 excluding VAT. The total estimated value for the two option years will be between NOK 2,000,000 and NOK 3,000,000 excluding VAT.
The work will be part of a cooperation programme between ERA and NVE that is financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by the embassy in Kampala. This technical assistance programme concerns a component for Grid Codes that will include rules for system operation, quality, connection, measurements, and settlements, etc.

Tenderers must be registered in a company register, professional register or a trade register in the country where the tenderer is established.
Documentation requirement:
Norwegian companies: Company registration certificate
Foreign companies: Verification showing that the tenderer is registered in a company register, professional register or a commerce register in the country where the tenderer is established.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Norwegian tenderers must have their affairs in order with regard to the payment of tax and value added tax (VAT).
Documentation requirement:
Tax certificate, not older than 6 months, calculated from the application deadline.
Tenderers must have sufficient economic and financial capacity to comply with the assignment contract.
Credit rating based on the most recent accounting figures. The rating must be carried out by a credit rating company with a license to conduct this service.
