The University Hospital of North Norway (hereafter called UNN) is currently constructing New UNN Narvik (hereafter called NUN) in Furumoen in Narvik. Narvik Municipality will construct a new Health Centre (hereafter called HH) next to the new hospital, which will follow the progress of the hospital to a large degree. Sykehusbygg HF is undertaking the project management for both projects.

UNN HF is a health trust under Helse Nord RHF. UNN HF is the contracting authority for the contract. The contracting authority has engaged Sykehusbygg HF which, together with UNN's development department, will be part of the project management for the project.

The assignment concerns inspections and checks of the engineering design documentation that is delivered by the project's turnkey contractor, HENT, including the role of builder ombudsman. Inspections must be carried out at the construction site in order to verifty the relationship between the engineering design services and the execution. This particularly applies to plumbing installations. The inspections and checks must be carried out for both the NUN and HH projects.

The engineering desing documentation follows a document delivery plan prepared by HENT that defines milestones. The date for multidisciplinary inspections is particularly relevant for the assignment. The documents will be

available for inspections continually in accordance with the document delivery plan, (see the contract documents annex E1).

The project's document delivery plan with the HVAC and sanitation documents filtered are attached and show documents and

deadlines that form the current basis. This is a snapshot and can be changed. The inspection plan is also

presented for the documents.

The expected hand over of the hospital and health centre is scheduled for mid 2024. There can be site inspections at the construction site up until December 2024.

The consultant will be part of the core group of the project and will awarded an important role in the project.

The workload is expected to be 20% in the engineering design period (up to and including March 2022) and 40% in the construction period.
