The emergency hospital at Hjelset is, per December 2020, a completed preliminary project that is ready for the detailed engineering design services.

The assignment consists of carrying out the part of the project concerning framework, foundations and sealed building for the somatic part of the Emergency Hospital at Hjelset. The somatic part of the project consists of the buildings 1250, 1260 and 1270. There will also be some technical deliveries naturally included in this construction phase, including bottom pipe, bottom plate risers, trunks and down spouts for roof drainage, electrical ducts in the ground, earthing etc.

The contract works primarily consist of:

— brief interaction phase/start-up phase;

— rigging and operation for own contract work (the builder will supply services for housing rigs, canteen, cloakroom, dining, offices and meeting room);

— excavation works associated with laying of waste suction pipes (the waste suction and piping will be delivered and laid by another contractor);

— excavation works associated with technical ducts within the construction pit;

— levelling for foundations;

— foundations;

— structure;

— sealed building;

— technical ducts in the ground;

— roof water.
