Vestre Viken HF is one of the country's largest health companies with almost 10,000 employees who offer specialist health services to more than half a million inhabitants. A completely new hospital is now being constructed at Brakerøya in Drammen, which will co-house somatics and psychiatry.
There is a need to create a joint office service for the future hospital, where the aim is to work as a hub for the WHOLE hospital so as to take care of patients in the best possible way.

The project
The project 'the future's office service for better patient flow' will ensure that the right person is in the right place, and will see that we have the right competence in the office service for the future.
New digital systems have already been implemented and several are in the process of being implemented. This increases digital interaction with patients and will change the way we work. The physical move to a new hospital gives us a golden opportunity to work towards a foundation for a completely new office service. We would like a revolution within the office service profession in the specialist health service, and are using this project to look for answers as to what organisation, competence, and placement is the most appropriate for the future office service in the specialist health service.

Objective of the procurement.
We would like to use this procurement to obtain the correct competence to implement a good StimuLab project. All StimuLab projects shall be in accordance with the triple diamond and the tenderer must offer competence and implementation of all diamonds even though that we, at the start of project, do not know what the delivery comprises. The diagnosis stage will identify what the delivery will include and the stage of the implementation process.

As the project is part of StimuLab, there must be an open and experimental approach, so it is, therefore, not known in advance what the actual delivery in each project will be. The projects must, however, result in an anchored and obliged system that is either implemented or will be implemented, or a platform for further development. This will depend on the project´s complexity and size and will be clarified further in the dialogue phase.

Roles and responsibility
The contracting authority is Vestre Viken HF Drammen.
The Norwegian Digitalisation Agency (Digdir) is carrying out this procurement on behalf of the contracting authority, as part of StimuLab.
Budget: NOK 3,100,000 + an option for up to NOK 3,100,000 excluding VAT.
Contract duration: The contract will run for one year with the opportunity to extend for up to one year + one year.
Estimert verdi eksklusive mva: 6 200 000 NOK 💰
Varighet: 12 måneder

The contract can be extended for up to one + one year and have an option for up to NOK 3,100,000. The option can be triggered fully or partially during three years.
