The contract concerns operation and maintenance assignments, with functional responsibility for some of the assignments, on national roads and national foot and bicycle paths with associated side facilities, side areas, equipment and installations in Oslo, Lillestrøm, Lørenskog, Ullensaker, Nittedal, and Bærum Municipalities.
The assignment also consists of inspecting and registering, planning the activity, stand-by for winter operations and general traffic flow, documentation, reporting to the builder, information to the public and handling other assignments that are necessary for the operation and maintenance of the road network.
The road network in the contract area is complex with main roads in Oslo as well as the E6 and E16 to Gardermoen. The road network also consists of city streets in Oslo such as Dronning Eufemias gate and Ring 1. The road network has very heavy traffic and dual carriageways that have high requirements for accessibility and traffic flow at all times. This is a demanding contract area, especially as regards winter operations, stand-by, and traffic safety.

The road network has very heavy traffic and dual carriageways that have high requirements for accessibility and traffic flow at all times. This is a demanding contract area, especially as regards winter operations, stand-by, and traffic safety.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Central Region would like tenders from contractors with the professional, technical and economical basis necessary for fulfilment of the contract. Experience from equivalent work is required. See detailed regulations in the tender documentation, chapter B2.

The contract is for operational and maintenance assignments, with function responsibility for some of the assignments, on national roads and national foot and cycle paths, with the accompanying side installations, side areas, equipment and installations in Oslo, Lillestrøm, Lørenskog, Ullensaker, Nittedal, and Bærum Municipalities, in accordance with the road list stated in chapters D2-V1, D2-S20 and D2-S37.

The assignment mainly consists of routine operational assignments and other operational assignments and minor maintenance assignments on the road network. The assignment also consists of inspecting and registering, planning the activity, stand-by for winter operations and general traffic flow, documentation, reporting to the builder, information to the public and handling other assignments that are necessary for the operation and maintenance of the road network.

The road network in the contract area is complex with main roads in Oslo as well as the E6 and E16 to Gardermoen. The road network also consists of city streets in Oslo such as Dronning Eufemias gate and Ring 1. The road network has very heavy traffic and dual carriageways that have high requirements for accessibility and traffic flow at all times. The climate varies from the coastal area where, amongst others, the E18 is, to and inland climate for part of the contract in Viken County. These factors mean that it is a demanding contract area, especially as regards winter operations, stand-by, and traffic safety.

The contract period is from 1 September 2021 to 31 August 2026 for all of the described assignments. The parties can, if they agree, extend the contract so that it also applies for a period for a further 12, 24, or 36 months c.f. chapter C3, point 36.

The builder has an option to extend the contract for 12 months, from 1 September in the year the contract was agreed to expire, (i.e., either at the end of the original contract period, or at the end of the extended contract period, in accordance with the previous section), until 31 August in the following year.
