The contest is for 24 hour continual operation of an ambulance boat in Sande Municipality on behalf of Helse Møre og Romsdal HF.
The ambulance boat service is a medical service that always have top priority, which is integrated in the acute medical stand-by service. The service must always fulfil the current requirements in the health legislation.
In addition to ambulance assignments, the boat will also be used by Sande Municipality as a commuter boat, transport for the emergency doctor service, transport of fire personnel, and transport of vets.
The boat will be in operation 365(6) days a year, 24 hours a day.
The service must cover a primary area in Sande Municipality. Assignments outside this area must also be expected. The boat will be stationed in Larsnes. Permanent port of calls and collection places are; Larsnes, Åram, Voksa, Kvamsøy and Sandsøya.
