NRK envisages awarding two contracts:

— one to the winner of the competition, which will be the main supplier, and which will also be awarded a framework agreement for the purchase of mobile phones and associated equipment;

— the second contract will be awarded to the runner-up in the competition for a supplementary supply of mobile broadband traffic for production purposes enabling NRK to use both the two major Norwegian mobile networks.

The contract will have a minimum period of 3 years with an option for up to three annual extensions, which brings the maximum contract length up to 6 years.

The estimated total annual value is approx. NOK 35 million.

K3 Contenders must have good competence and capacity for the delivery and further development of landline telephony, including disposal of their own mobile network in Norway, as well as the sale of mobile telephones and accompanying equipment.

K4 Contenders must have made equivalent service contracts with mobile and landline services nationwide in Norway for an equivalent corporation.

K5 Contenders must have established satisfactory quality assurance methods.

K6 Contenders must have established satisfactory methods for information security.

K7 Tenderers must have established satisfactory environmental management systems.
