The increase in the number of pupils at Lund indicates that there is a need to expand the capacity of the primary school. The capacity at Wilds Minne school is exceeded and pupils in the vicinity must be rejected. There are currently 810 pupils, 426 at Lovisenlund, 382 at Wilds Minne. The schools have a calculated capacity of respectively 500 and 295 pupils.
Proposed measures in the municipal plan indicate increased development in central areas. It is important to have sufficient school capacity for this. Dimensioning of the new Wilds Minne School will be 500 pupils. A feasibility study has been prepared showing that the expansion is possible within the available area.
