Helse Stavanger HF

Helse Stavanger HF [Stavanger Hospital Trust] is the project owner and the builder for the new University Hospital in Stavanger. A project organisation has been established at the contracting authority, which shall plan and execute construction stage 1 of the new University Hospital, called Nye SUS.
The new hospital will be built at Ullandhaug. The site is located in Stavanger, and is a close neighbour to the University of Stavanger. The first construction stage will be ready for use in 2024. At that time, all somatic beds, emergency functions and necessary support functions will be moved.
In the first construction stage a hospital of approx. 125,000 m2 will be built (this includes a new extension of Building E) and approx. 25,000 m2 combined parking (one for employees and one for visitors/relatives).
